This is a good reflection. Yet, you do need to appreciate the opportunities he offered you, not only the offer to study but also pressure and stress that honed your skills.

Thanks for the reply. Actually I have more than one offer at that time, but it is indeed my choice, I should take the responsibility. The skills and abilities are important, but the period destroyed my happiness and my youth, and even my health, it is just like closed in the jail, so I have no appreciate to him. You have no such feeling in case you have no such experience, but I really appreciate your comment :-)

感恩吧，你的导师使你得到了锻炼，与一帆风顺毕业相比，你变得更加优秀！人往往就是要逼，惰性谁都有，不逼不成材。你的优点是承受力强，也许有的人会放弃，有的人会对抗，有的人会发疯，甚至有的人会自杀！而你没有，尽管身在逆境，还是成功挺过来了。祝贺你！
