The questionof how (rising) inequality influences people’s behavior, the selfishness oftheir actions, and economic efficiency is a hotly debate issue both in many academicdisciplines and in the public.

The questionof how….. is a hotly debate issue both in many academic discipline and in thepublic.

Recent workin psychology and economics suggests that upper-class individuals act less ethicallythan lower-class individuals. Trautmann et al. (2013) give an overview of howdifference dimensions of being upper class (wealth, income, education) areassociated with different ethical and unethical behaviors.

文笔一如既往的平淡，使用了recent work in …. Suggests that …..注意使用upper-class individuals 和lower-class individuals 这样的措辞。 此外，使用某一个人 give an overview of how……也是一种介绍已有归纳总结的办法。

Even thoughthere is no clear-cut evidence that members of elite are more selfish ingeneral, it seems to be an empirical regularity that their behavior differsfrom non-elite people in some dimensions.

很多事情都是没有 clear-cut evidence 的， clear-cut 意思为清楚的，明确的，同意有distinct, clearly or sharply defined,trenchant. 注意使用 the elite 和non-elitepeople 这样的说法。

In this paper,we neither attribute behavioral differences between the elite and the rest of societyto endowment difference nor to self selection (a positive correlation between selfishnessand endowment); rather we hypothesize in line with cote et al. (2015) and Heap etal. (2016) that the inequality in the society itself makes elite members more selfishand less generous.

这部分道出了作者主要的argument，但是稍微有些突兀，直接过渡到如何去attribute 精英和非精英的行为差异。 Rather, 可以作为转折的一种地道表达方法， we hypothesize in line with …..这种表达方法不知道是不是地道，意思是，我们倾向于认同…..假设……主要的观点来了…..

Thus, we offera new perspective on the relation between inequality, elite behavior. And economicefficiency.

谢谢你的关注！暂时还没有特别关注这类书籍，我看有很多公众号写怎么写英语论文，但是我的问题是 表达和结构，所以我只能用这种笨方法了。
