The traditional C / S model statements, while have long development cycle, and scalability poor , have been unable to meet the needs of enterprise applications. BIRT is a outstanding report framework in the Open-source field, while base on the development of JAVA. It provides rich API, and the visual design pattern, has effectively improved the report Reusability and the design efficiency. In particular, the Web application, BIRT has a good performance. This paper first introduced the report of the status quo at home and abroad, as well as statements in the application of the system characteristics, and then introduced the BIRT reporting solution, and statements from the design, integration and reporting framework for the two aspects were studied.
