<p>The period of the Eleventh Five-year Plan is a key period of time for building a well-off comfortable society, and the construction of a new socialist countryside is a key and difficult point for building such a well-off society and it is a major strategic measure for solving the “three dimensional rural issues”. we, the agricultural technology extension system, cannot shirk our due responsibility. The approaches to &nbsp;agricultural technology extension during the period of the Eleventh Five-year Plan are: Increase vitality through the deepened reform, seek development through a creative mechanism, and continue to enhance the service functions of provincial-level and improve those of county-level agricultural technology extension agencies through implementation of some major agricultural projects like “Quality Food Industrial Project”, “Seed Project”, “Plants Conservancy Project”, “Testing Foil for Formulated Fertilization” and “Dry-land Water-saving Agriculture”; by promoting the reform of the agricultural technology extension system at the grassroots level, mobilize people’s enthusiasm at the terminal of the agricultural technology extension system, and increase the availability of agricultural technology and the contribution rate of agricultural technology, in order to provide technical support for a steady growth of food production, a sustainable increase of farmers’ income, a constant improvement of the capacity of agricultural production and an overall development of agriculture and rural economy. </p><p></p><p></p><br/>
