<p>DATA DISK for ECONOMETRIC METHODS (fourth edition)</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; by J. Johnston and J. DiNardo</p><p></p><p>This disk contains various time-series and cross-section data</p><p>used in the numerical examples in the text.&nbsp; They are also</p><p>used in some of the problems at the end of each chapter.&nbsp; </p><p>The disk also includes program codes to do some of the simulation </p><p>exercises in chapter 11.&nbsp; Instructors and students may devise </p><p>further exercises in applied econometrics involving these data.&nbsp; </p><p></p><p>In this disk there are seven subdirectories. Each subdirectory is </p><p>labeled CHAP# corresponding to the relevant chapter in the book. </p><p>The subdirectory CHAP1013 contains Current Population Survey Data</p><p>used in the text in Chapters 10-13 (This data is also used in Chapter 6.)</p><p></p><p>Each subdirectory contains its own README.DOC file describing the </p><p>data contained in that subdirectory. We use the notation </p><p></p><p>NSA:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; not seasonally adjusted</p><p>SA:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; seasonally adjusted </p><p>SAAR:&nbsp;&nbsp; seasonally adjusted at an annual rate </p><p></p><p>The data files come in several forms.
