1 The regional and global aggregates shown in some of the charts are calculated on
the basis of 2004 World Bank PPP weights. In order to make the charts as
up-to-date as possible we have occasionally used consensus forecasts for the latest
quarter (or month) for some of the smaller countries where data is not particularly
timely. Where consensus forecasts are not available we have kept the figure
unchanged from the previous month or quarter. We have only used
forecasts/estimates on very few charts and only in instances where using them does
not have a significant impact on the aggregate.
