Regarding the post https://bbs.pinggu.org/thread-1215029-1-1.html, I follow the instruction and successfully open the EM window. However, when I input a data source, it shows "Sample could not be generated: Proc DMDB code failed". Any one know how to deal with it?

Do you also have error message similar like this in your log?
ERROR: Variable xxx in list does not match type prescribed for this list.
ERROR: Variable xxx not found.

Not exactly, when I input a data source, a new data set called "EMPROJ.SMP_VIU2" will be automatically created in "Emdata". Also, the log show:

ERROR: Variable    xxx is not on file EMPROJ.SMP_VIU2.
ERROR: Variable    xxx is not on file EMPROJ.SMP_VIU2.

In your original dataset, do you have blank or special character in the variable (xxx specified in the log)?

No. The variables I used are simply 'x', 'y', 'z', etc.
