About the Author
Dr. Dorinda Clippinger earned business education degrees from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and Indiana University -Bloomington; taught information management in Western Kentucky University’s -College of Business Administration; and managed titles and content development teams at South-Western Publishing Co. before founding Penworthy Learning Systems, a consultancy for instructional materials publishers. As a Lecturer in Management, Darla Moore School of -Business (University of South Carolina) for 11 years, she taught -professional communication, including report writing and presentation. For 18 years, she has participated in the Association for Business Communication. Dr. Clippinger coauthored with Dr. Shirley Kuiper the 5th edition of Contemporary Business Reports. More recently she authored -Planning and Organizing Business Reports (2016), Producing Written and Oral Business Reports (2017), Business Research Reporting (2018), and -Business Report Guides: Routine, and Nonroutine Reports and Policies, -Procedures, and Instructions (2019) for Business Expert Press.
