来英国读研半年了,所学专业MSC Accounting and Finance,本科在国内学财务管理,一直以来都更多的关注CPA和ACCA,国内CPA是很有性价比,很符合国内企业需求的,而ACCA 更适合外企,还有四大会计师事务所,考试成本费用不菲,但是很少有人关注CIMA.我也是因为这个学期有管理会计这门课程才更多的关注这个,这门科学进几百年来基本上变化不是翻天覆地的那种,也就是说是相对来说比较稳定的,而且在国内这方面的人才需求量很大,人才很匮乏.最近注册了人大的论坛,看了相关的帖子,对此自己又找了很多的资料,以后还会持续更新,希望对此有兴趣的人,更多的关注CIMA.

Some Background...
In 1919, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants (ICWA) was founded with 37 members. On 5 October 1932, under the seals of Garter Principal King of Arms, Clarenceux King of Arms and Norroy King of Arms the institute was awarded the crest of arms. The full coat of arms was not granted until 16 January 1952. The coat of arms encapsulates CIMA's values and motto - honesty, accuracy and justice.
In 1972, the institute changed its name to the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (ICMA) and in 1975 was granted the Royal charter. The institute changed its name again in 1986 to the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), as it stands today, recognising the importance and commercial relevance of management accounting.
The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is a United Kingdom membership body that offers an internationally recognised professional qualification in management accountancy, focusing on accounting for business.
The difference between the CIMA qualification and the Association Of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the (ACA) in the UK is that CIMA is aimed towards accountants working internally within an organisation. This is in contrast to auditors, for example, who 'audit' financial reports from an external perspective. For this reason, the ACCA / ACA are highly regulated and require students to learn more rules, regulations and other legal aspects. CIMA students on the other hand, focus on business, information and financial strategies. It is widely regarded as one of the best financial management qualifications, equivalent to an MBA in finance.
Being a globally recognised qualification, CIMA is currently moving its focus towards international accountancy regulations.
