You have been hired to plan a survey of 10 well structured refugee camps that are spread
across a large area. You have vehicles, fuel and interviewers to make two journeys only to each
camp. You have no information on the size or distribution of the population. The refugees are
nearly all mothers and children who have fled war. Your job is to design a survey strategy that
gathers data on immunization status of children under 5. Describe the steps that you would
take to plan and carry out this survey, justify your sampling strategy .
