H-Y-P-E-R.Hyper.[ˈhaɪpər]
Hyper means to be extremely excited or nervous.I am pretty sure that we have all experienced being hyper.
I have two example situations for you all.
Example one: When we give speeches or presentations at work in front of our peers and our boss.
Example two: Most of us who have been to university have felt hyper the night before our big day.
It is a mix of being excited and nervous because you don't know what to expect. So you're pretty hyper the night before.
Here, let us look at some example sentence:
Example 1:
Please don't let him play video games before bed. They make him hyper and he won't go to sleep.
Example 2:
Can you be cool? Don't be so hyper when meeting my parents, it's ok.
