pleasure 这个单词就是“愉快”、“高兴”的意思，take pleasure in sth 意思就是“以···为乐”。所以， “以他人的痛苦为乐”也就是 takes pleasure in others' pain.

发音

我们在读这句话的时候，要注意 pain 这个单词的发音。中间发 /ei/ 的音， 我们在发这个音的时候，可以先发 /e/ 的音，再把下巴抬起慢慢滑向 /ɪ/ 音。音量从强到弱 /ei/.
