From the artical, I find the posiible reason why some firm can live for long in the competitive market. They do not just seek for the  profitability. I really hope our firms can cope well with the relationship between profitality and social conscience.

I believe the success of the Company is not really depends on how much money it has in the bank or how much asset it has on the book.  The major factor is that the Company has the best man power that can utilize all the company's resource to maximize the profit for the Company with their best effort.  If one cannot be fully utilize his/her strength, or willing to do so, the Company should be revisit its policy and environment.
