it depends. my understanding is if you are in division like IPO, merge & acquisition, then 100hrs per week could be the cases. if trading, then the job you need do some times is just looking at the screen (Bloomberg). it still need 50hrs a week and fast paced a lot of times. however, 100hrs a week would be definitely very rare.
