Task:

NBA has placed some of the preseason games in China for several years. The move is trying to extend its popularity in China. However, no matter haow hard NBA is marketing to promote the sport, Soccer, the real football is still the world's number one, most popular sports.

I think maybe they just want to repay the fans in China , and at the same time to promote this game.  Not to think that much.

Every person has his own world for sport, someone like football, else somes like basketball, some another like badminton, or even just running, etc.
