Vendor Market Shares Worldwide Plasma Display Panel Market Share Continuing its dominant march through 2005, Panasonic was the worldwide PDP leader in the third quarter of this year, with 30.5% of total plasma shipments. U.S. Plasma Display Panel Market Share As seen in Figure 2, Panasonic also extended its plasma leadership to the U.S. market in 3Q05, achieving a 26.6% share and easily besting Samsung and its 10.5% second-place showing.
