Nowadays, it is highly important for enterprises to be able to maintain a healthy organizational culture in the business environment, no matter the area of work. As the importance of an organization is given by the contemporary tendencies, enterprises need to be capable of responding to any kind of changes in an efficacious manner in order to be able to survive to the rapid environment changes and to cope with globalization. The capacity of an organization to adapt to the challenges met in the business environment in which it functions depends on the health of the culture. This is represented by all the beliefs and values that stay at the core of its functioning. Depending on these values and beliefs, an organization will establish its mission, as well as the specific manner in which it will attempt to achieve its goals and objectives ensuring the successful implementation of all necessary changes. For this reasons, special care has to be appointed to business ethics because organizations which follow this path have better chances of survival, compared to the ones whose only goal is to make profits, even if they have to compromise on a lot of things for that. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the importance of business ethics in some sort of activities related to the functioning of an enterprise. The emphasis will be put more on the international appliance of business ethics and the way in which they are influenced by cultural differences worldwide.
