HELP: 有关FRM 的一些问题~~

建议用最新的Notes或者叫Manuals，毕竟每年的内容会变化一些，Handbook个人意见对于一些金融基础不好的人来说看不看没所谓，因为他写的太笼统了，经常看得云里雾里的，我就是这样，Notes就详细很多。

Practice exam and past year real test paper shall be enough.

i have also registered for the 2008 examination and have consulted my colleague who has passed the exam last year (2007).

i was told that he used mainly Schweser's FRM study notes.

He attended preparatory classes with one of the local institutes which uses Schweser's study notes as its primary teaching materials. According to him, studying the Handbook (4th Edition) alone is insufficient to pass the exam because certain areas/concepts are inadequately covered by the Handbook.

Nevertheless, he told me that his instrustor did mention to study the following chapters of the Handbook to get a better understanding of the relevant concepts:

1.Chapter 4 of the Handbook is a must read

2.Chapter 14 and Chapter 15 (are the key materials to the exam)

3.Chapter 2 is relevant

4.To skip chapter 1, 5 to 9, 12, 13, 25-29 and 31

His advice is to focus on Schweser's notes + do many many many exam questions and use the Handbook only as something supplementary.

I thot i would just share with everyone this information.

frm考试，handbook是必看的，因为它是garp官方出的，有权威！

schweser出的notes可以看的，毕竟他是专门的辅导机构，但是不是GARP，有些东西是有错误的。

有时间的话，可以看看garp给的参考书，金程有个“精华五本”全部是摘抄的这些参考书，不过内容太多了！！！你可能没有时间看~

handbook你可以看三遍的话，我觉得你肯定可以考过!

My colleague told me that the handbook is enough.  I will try to read core reading too.  As to notes, I don't have them, so I will focus on reading handbook first.
