PhD is not a easy but a good investment program from your career development perspective, as long as you are qualified to take it. (note: a crap PhD is an exception.)

Believe me. With a good PhD degree and a PhD trained mindset, you can earn more than you expect later. (note: frankly speaking, many PhD candidates do not think and act like a PhD.)

In the long run men hit what they aim at. Therefore, though they should fail immediately, they had better aim at something high.

当年在职了一个博士后，就是解决了老婆孩子的上海户口，弄了一个博后基金，别的没啥收获。脱产读是没啥意思。
