请教一个有关机会成本的问题

The biggest difference between option C and D is,
D is earning, C is expense.

Opportunity cost is about highest possible earning, not expense.

老师给了一道例题，计算念大学的oc。
例题：若上学，学费一万 书费1000 但是会损失同一时间如果去打工的薪水3万。另外，这个人吃饭租金一万5。 问 去上学的oc
这道题答案是 1万学费+1000书费+失去的薪水30000 一共是4万1
为啥这个题目里就加上了expense？

这个答案令人费解啊。
机会成本是指放弃的几个收益中选出最大的收益。

选择c，若不上大学自己省一比学费。
选择d，不上大学就可能会有一个成功的生意。
对于highest还是支持d。。
