如何用stata对自变量进行去中心化处理

center命令不也是标准化（中心化）吗，为什么我做出来的结果标准差不为1，并且和std命令做出来的不一样？ ...

help center 中有谈到：

1. 1. center 之选项 standardize creates a variable containing the standardized values (zero sample mean and unit sample variance).
   
2. 2. Default is to create a variable containing the centered values (zero sample mean).

没看过你写的公式，center 做的是让变量减去平均数然后再除以标准差！请 help center!

那请问您如何用stata根据这2个公式新建这两个指标呢？gen 和egen好像不能直接生成呢

1. sysuse auto, clear
   
2. 
   
3. // M1
   
4. center price, standardize
   
5. 
   
6. // M2
   
7. egen price_m = mean(price)
   
8. egen price_sd = sd(price)
   
9. gen price_c = (price-price_m)/price_sd

直接生成一个一模一样的变量，再标准化就是，(⊙o⊙)…
