[UserName=ncl77] 第一本:(1)http://mitpress.mit.edu/catalog/item/default.asp?ttype=2&tid=9923&xid=10&xcid=0 不知可以copy吗(没仔细看)

附:University of California at Berkeley Spring Semster, 2005 http://emlab.berkeley.edu/~chad/e202b_s05/econ202b2005.html

[/UserName]

Economic Growth David Weil Addison-Wesley (2004)

http://www.pearson.ch/pageid/34/artikel/68026AW/Addison-Wesley/0201680262/EconomicGrowth.aspx

Features

  • Comprehensive overview of the burgeoning field of economic growth that incorporates the most significant findings of contemporary research, as well as more traditional approaches.
  • Featured recent research includes:
    • Development accounting (Hall and Jones, 1999; Klenow and Rodriguez-Clare, 1997).

    • Colonial origins of modern institutions (Acemoglu, Johnson and Robinson, 2001).

    • Helping hand vs. grabbing hand analysis of government regulation (Djankov et al., 2002).

    • Geography as an instrument for understanding trade's effect on growth (Frankel and Romer, 1999).

    • Experimental evidence on the propensity to cooperate (Henrich et al., 2001).

    • The roles of climate and geography as determinants of economic development (Sachs et al., various papers).

  • Strong focus on data, with a coherent theoretical framework.
  • The textbook is accessible in its design and layout and include a wealth of two-color figures and tables, plus maps and photographs, glossary of key terms, and index.
  • An array of sidebar boxes on topics of special interest.
  • End-of-chapter questions and problems designed to encourage critical thinking and to help students apply the theory.

Table of Contents

I. OVERVIEW.

1. The Facts to Be Explained. 2. A Framework for Analysis.

II. FACTOR ACCUMULATION.

3. Physical Capital. 4. Population and Economic Growth. 5. Future Population Trends. 6. Human Capital.

III. PRODUCTIVITY.

7. Measuring Productivity. 8. The Role of Technology in Growth. 9. The Cutting Edge of Technology. 10. Efficiency. 11. Growth in the Open Economy.
