10.宁越敏
男，汉族，1954年7月出生于上海市。1978年毕业于华东师范大学地理系。1982年在华东师范大学地理系研究生毕业，获理学硕士学位。1987年9月－1988年10月在英国伦敦政治和经济学院地理系进修。1982年起在华东师范大学西欧北美地理研究所工作至今，历任讲师、副教授、教授。1998年起担任西欧北美地理研究所所长、城市与区域发展研究所所长。2004年起任教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地华东师范大学中国现代城市研究中心主任。任中国地理学会城市地理专业委员会副主任，中国城市规划协会区域规划和城市经济专业委员会委员，上海地理学会理事、上海城市经济学会理事。《人文地理》、《世界地理研究》副主编，《城市规划》、《经济地理》、《中国地理研究（英文版）》、《辽宁师范大学学报》等刊物的编委。


　　主要研究方向为城市地理学、城市经济与城市规划。目前主持教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地重大项目“从劳动分工到大都市区的空间组织”，国家自然科学基金项目“全球化与长江三角洲都市连绵区空间组织的演化”。


　　代表著有《中国城市发展史》（第一作者，1994），《城市地理概论》（第二作者，1983），《城市地理学》（第三作者，1997），在国内外发表80多篇论文。
