Sustainable agriculture
Nowadays ,with the development of agriculturescience and technology, China’s gain yield has achieved growth for 12 years. Wecan purchase food and vegetables which don’t exist before. However, we mustface the fact that to maintain the growth is increasingly difficult. Chinese governmenthas always been advocated sustainable agriculture policy. As a result, relatedmeasures should be taken to implement the policy as follow:
First of all,the government should take steps to control pollution of water and soil. Newlaws related to environment protection must be passed ,so as to raise farmer’senvironment awareness and develop green and effcient production proposed byagriculture scientist.
Another measurefor sustainable agriculture is water and soil conservation. We should plantmore trees to ensure that the soil of farm land is not washed away by rivers,at the same time ,build more reservoirs to resist agriculture drought.
Last but notleast, developing local characteristic model makes sustainable agriculture moreeasier. As we all know, maize price dropped sharply in china, It’s wise toreturn farmland to forest or grassland and develop fruit planting or cowbreeding. As a result , farmer’income will increase steadily over the long run.
All in all,without developing agriculture sustainably, we would not be able to eat safely,and harmonious relationship would not been realized between human and nature.
How to improve your ability of scientific research
The issue thathow to improve the ability of scientific research has been widely discussedamong graduate students in agriculture college. Admittedly ,excellent abilityof scientific research has brought a student the possibility to make greatprogress in his subject and publish good paper. As far as I concern , somefactors will help us as followed:
Patience andcare have the primary effect on scientific research. Due to the increasing uncertainof new problems, it become increasingly difficult for us to make newdiscoveries however chance favors the patient and careful ones. For example,Edison made 1800 tries before the final discovery of exact material suitable fora bulb.
Another factoris cooperation and communication skills. At present ,many scientific findingsare discoved by the cohesive and active teams. Only in a relaxed team can wework effectively and efficiently. In addition, if you actively communicate withyour instructor, he would know your interest points and therefore will not assignyour subject rigidly.
Last but notleast ,English reading ability will great expand your academic vision. A lot ofhigh level papers are published in English. So the only thing you need to do isread more English papers. As for me ,some relative papers in my interest fieldmust be carefully red to master the details.
So to sum up, althoughthe ability of scientific research is a long term and systematic work, weshould never abandon our dream to be success and make effort to it.
