如题，有两段话求助，如下：

冒号以后描述的好像是一个已经确立的学科需要具备的条件，但是我翻译不好！尤其是颜色标注的地方！
2、In the book I will try to describe the emergence of entrepreneruship and small business research during the 1980s and 1990s and the development of the field from a discovery-oriented research approach toward strong empirically-based research and the increasingly theoretical interest that we can find today.
最后一句“and the increasingly theoretical interest that we can find today”，不知是与前两项内容（emergence、development）并列，还是development 的内容？该怎么翻译？
