我个人谈下这本书：

这本书是我2009年在新西兰某大学学习BUSINESS的时候，BRM（Business Research Methods）的教科书之一。最初老师是推荐的另一本，Applied Business Research（见https://www.amazon.com/Applied-B ... ss+Research+Methods）

Uma Sekaran是其中一个作者，当时Applied Business Research的那本书因为是2001年出版，当时老师考虑到可能已经不适合目前教学，所以在开学前几天突然告知我们更换为Research Methods For Business: A Skill Building Approach这本书，当时是第五版，我当时还为了好好学习还特地买了纸书。BRM（Business Research Methods）一直是中国留学生读BUSINESS的梦魇，当时是必修课，且看似LEVEL 6的课但难度不逊于LEVEL 7。我那时候的老师是一个会计系的老师，讲课严谨，考试出题以偏、怪、难出名，他考前给我们划的重点，往往考试会不仅仅是那些所谓的重点，还有其他不常考的内容，当年读书也是患得患失，考题中突然出现Quasi-experimental designs的名称解释，顿时吓出一身冷汗（老师根本没说这个是重点来着），想了半天才想起它的中文意思，然后就回忆当时查阅百度百科时看到的中文解释，然后用英语简单表述了一下。后来成绩出来了，运气不错得了B-，离下一等级C+就1分的差距，当时这个名词解释5分，老师给了我4分，事后他跟我聊天，他说他批试卷时候，一眼就看出来这个是中国的百度百科的解释了，因为很多中国学生都是类似的答案，就因为我翻译的更地道点，给了我4分（其实他一开始是标了3.5分，后来划掉再给我4分的），虽然我的整体考的一般般，但这个是卷上的亮点，老师也挺满意。那次据说班上也有近5个中国学生挂科了，在杀手课（我们给的雅称）能突破重围的，能在第一次BRM考试中能在那个阴咄咄的老外手掌心里逃脱的，都是牛人。回国前，我特地把那纸书包好，放进行李箱带回国内，这是我读书的一段记忆。时隔多年，再次看到这本书，心有感慨，是好书，给大家推荐下。现在清华大学出版社也有这本书的中文版了，当时看的是第四版中文，是两个台湾学者祝道松, 林家五先生翻译的，翻译的很好，但目前的第五版翻译，恐怕就不会像台湾学者翻译的这么好了！
