POLYST is a computer program for implementing four alternative item response
theory (IRT) scale transformation methods to place item and proficiency
parameter estimates from a group of examinees (new group) on a scale determined
by a base or reference group of examinees. The four scale transformation methods
include the mean/mean, mean/sigma, Haebara, and Stocking-Lord methods.
