Statistic analysis  is not the job just for anyone who just knows little about almost everything.

Statistic analysis is the combination knowledge of business, data, statistics. Lack anyone of them would be useless(GIGO).

Not quite agree with such statement. With Statistics background, you certainly can work in most of the professions.
Statisticians are the experts in data analysis in their own specific field. It doesn't mean you have to have those knowledge to enter the filed, rather Statisticians are the ones
to provide the support to fill in the gaps between.  That's why university has the program called "Statistics" or has the Department of Statistics.

I formally work in Biostatistics on HIV, and casually work for some financial projects. However I never learnt Epidemiology, HIV biology or Finance.
Offcoz, to perform the best capacities in your career, you need to learn those stuff as your works go. But vise versa, not necessary.
