没办法啊，我们是发展中国家，大家比较功利一些啊。。

是。其实发展中有很多特色的。

工作和学习难道就一定会很冲突吗

Yes, I think so,too.

The price of house is surprising. It is much bigger than the tuition in USA. After several years, I am really of making little money then to pay Bank every month.

I agree. People who really want to do research may be do not have hard background to apply successfully to good universities.

I think so, too. Study for money or success is a tradition for Chinese poeple.

No, it is the same. In USA, master degree is a training for someone who want to get a job. But Phd students are trained for doing the research.

Chinese students confuse the purpose of doing PhD and making money. Once they find they could earn more than a PhD holder does if they only have a master degree, they will turn to the easier way of making money from pursuing the ideal PhD which is a real pain, or even a challenge for some of them.

I agree. Most of the people in the world do not like challenge.
