那英文里应该怎么说？

是 the other day 还是 another day 呢？

还是 "change another day" ？

如果你今天没空，想说改天，就可以说：

How about another day？

Maybe some other time.

“改天”其实还有个特别的俚语表达，take a rain check，这个短语是来自美国的棒球文化，如果棒球比赛中因恶劣天气而不得不终止，官方将会给观众发一张rain check，凭这张券就可以观看下一次的比赛。所以 take a rain check，也就有了改天的意思。

the other day≠改天

the other day = not long ago，意思是几天前、不久以前。而another day意思是改天、又一天、新的一天。

活到明天就可以说live to see / fight another day。

The other day, he cut the grass on his samll lawn.

几天前，他才修理完院子里的草坪。

white day≠白天

white day 才不是白天的意思呢？实际上 white day = White Valentine's Day，是白色情人节的缩写。还可以表示良辰吉日，white 是幸福的、吉利的意思。

白天正确的表达方式是 by day，夜里就是 by night。要注意，加了 the 意思就变了！by the day 是按天计算，随着时间的意思。

They chose a white day to marry their daughter to Tom.他们挑选了一个吉日把女儿嫁给了汤姆。
今天几号怎么说？

What day is it today？和 What's the date today?这两个问日子的问法，大家要注意区分哦！

What day is it today？是问今天是周几，day 前面是没有the；而 What's the date today? 是问今天几号，date 前面一定要加 the 哦！

如果问今天是什么节日就可以说：What holiday is it today？

What day is it today? Today is Monday. 今天是星期几？周一。
What is the date today ? lt's 10th June.今天是几号呀？6月10号。
