都是曼昆《经济学》上的问题。
问题一（第一章 Ten principles of economics）：You are trying to decide where to take a holiday. Most of the costs of the holiday (airfare, hotel, foregone wages) are measured in euros, but the benefits of the holiday are psychological. How can you compare the benefits to the costs?
这个应该怎样比较呢？（先把欧元转换成其他可能的pyschological benefits，然后再和holiday的psychological benefits 比较？）
问题二（第九章 Application: International Trade）: When the government of Tradeland decides to impose an import quota on foreign cars, three proposals are suggested: (1) Sell the import licenses in an auction. (2) Distribute the licenses randomly in a lottery. (3) Let people wait in line and distribute the licenses on a first-come, first-served basis. 问题是，哪种方式的deadweight loss最大，哪种最小？
我的想法是，第二种方式deadloss最大，因为它不能保证licenses能够分配给最需要的exporters，所有不能实现最大的export surplus（或者government revenue）。第一种和第三种方式中间哪种deadweight更小呢？（第三种？因为排队要花的成本大于拍卖的成本？或者还因为这一种方式也不能完全保证licenses分给最需要的exporters？）。
