摘要
在过去的十年里，需要存储 传输和处理的信息的数量成指数地增加。这主要要归因与两项技术的发展。一是多媒体系统在众多领域中广泛应用，过去计算机只能处理数字和文本，现在却已代之以声音 图像 电影和虚拟显示；另一项时Internet的大发展，它使信息可以被许多人共享。这两项进展综合作用了产生了所谓的World Wide Web，一个交互的 多媒体的 基于超文本的信息网络。
本文的图像处理则恰好解决了其中图像存储的问题，在图像存储中分别有两种压缩方式，其一是有损压缩，其二时无损压缩。无损压缩是中在压缩过程中精确重建没有信息丢失的数据，它一般用于文本文件的压缩中；而有损压缩，我们允许压缩后产生质量上的误差。有损压缩机制的优点时可以得到比无损压缩高的多的压缩比，但是它中能用于近似的数据代替原始数据，而这种相似数据又是容易被压缩的。可以对BMP格式和JPEG格式相互之间的转换，采用不同的位值和保留颜色百分比来得到全新的图像。这样可以节省一定的图像空间，也可以方便图像存储方式的转换

ABSTRACT
In the past decade, the amount of the information needs for storage transmission and processing increased in exponential. This is mainly attributed by two developments of technology. First, multimedia systems widely used in many fields, in the past, the computer could only handle digital information and text, now they are replaced with sound film images and the show of virtual. In another hand, at the Internet's development, it makes information can be shared by many people. These two progresses have a combination in form the World Wide Web, an interactive multimedia-based hypertext information network.
In this paper ，and image processing, which happens to solve the problem of image storage, the storage image respectively in two compress mode, one of which is prejudicial to compression, and the other is the lossless compression. Lossless compression is accurate reconstruction in the process of compression with no information data lost, it is generally used in the text file compression, and the lost compression, we have allowed some error on the quality of compressed. The Lost compression mechanism of the merits can be lossless compression ratio of the number of high compression ratio, but it can be only used in data of similar instead of the original data, and this similar data can be compressed. easily It solve the conversion between the BMP and JPEG format the. get a new color images by different bit and the percentage of color reservation. This can save some space images, can also facilitate the conversion image storage
