Nowadays, not only the industry control system design pays great attention to its use, even more tends to the development of the security, the reliability, the intuition. Regarding the coke oven electric locomotive control system design, this article has used the converter to connect the power source and the electrical machinery, constituted the coke oven electric locomotive control system, realized its basic control function, has avoided formerly complex links of movement and velocity modulation replacement. Regarding the electric locomotive operating system, this article has designed the touch screen which corresponds with the electric locomotive to realize the man-machine exchange; even more caused its operation to be nimble, to be safe, to be reliable, to be direct-viewing. This article has first introduced the coke oven electric locomotive's basic composition and the principle of work, then introduced the choice of the converter in this design, and elaborated how to use the design concept to carry on the connection and the control for the electric locomotive by the converter, finally, it has detailed elaborated how the driven system is realized through the operating system in this design.
