Job Summary
Reporting to the Team Lead, Sector Funding and Information Management, this position supports use of CCAC data to support sector-wide benchmarking and reporting, and provides analytic support to sector strategic projects. Key Responsibilities: - Develops knowledge of CCAC data holdings as they relate to the CCAC business and uses this knowledge to develop queries and reports that support strategic initiatives.
- Develops detailed analyses and reports to support CCAC sector-wide benchmarking and reporting.
- Liaises with CCACs to understand issues and analytic needs of the sector.
- Participates with and provides analytic support to cross-functional strategic project teams, including indicator definition, business requirement documents, and ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
You are a driven, self-starting professional with a proven track record in making conclusions from data. You are a collaborative team player who is comfortable adapting in a dynamic environment. You are highly organized, analytical, and able to balance multiple priorities, all while maintaining a strong attention to detail. You have excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into a clear presentation. - Post-secondary education in an Information Management related field, health policy and planning, strategic analysis, data management, health economics or other technical or health related discipline.
- Demonstrated skills in the collection, analysis and interpretation of large data sets required.
- Experience with Microsoft tools including Access, Excel and Word required.
- Familiarity with a statistical analysis platform (i.e. SPSS or SAS) an asset.
- Familiarity with SQL an asset.
- Awareness of the Ontario health sector, components and issues and asset.
