蹩脚的借口
Lame excuseA very bad or unbelievable reason that you give to explain why you did or are going to do something wrong.
- Telling the boss that you want the day off because you have a bad hair day is a lame excuse.跟老板请假的理由是发型很糟糕，这真的是一个蹩脚的借口。
- You can't work because you have hiccups? That's a lame excuse!因为打嗝不能工作？那是一个蹩脚的借口！
