在stata中使用运用程序包xtptm进行面板阀值估计，按照xtptm中的文件read me估计，却出现
unrecognized command：stradd，但在working directory中存在stradd.ado文件，stata10.0及stata11.od都是一样的。
请教哪位高手，谢谢！

我做的时候也是接连的问题啊。。。

As I commented elsewhere...

The problems can be solved using steps below:
1. download xtptm
2. unrar/unzip the file to a specified location
3. read read me.txt
4. copy all files in the working directory - should be in ado folder of Stata program folder
5. download moremata - type - findit moremata - in stata and download all relevant files
6. open ado file using ado window inside stata and run both xtptm.ado and stradd.ado
7. open your data in stata
8. run xtptm command to estimate your model
9. GOOD LUCK

很好，可以更加详细些。

我试过了将xtptm拷贝到各个目录，好像可以了，但是不能加thnum()选项。

请问是将xtptm拷贝到stata的ado文件就行了吧，还需要往update里的x考吗

我就是按您说的弄的 每次都出现 <istmt>:  3499  ptm() not found
您知道是什么原因呢  我折腾了好久 还是弄不明白 先谢过了
