Skype is an excellent voice tool for international communication  and its voice quality is the best among the Society Network Sites virtually. However, Skype didn't find a good profit model for itself all the time so that it have to bear the heavy debt.

Microsoft has been trying everything to remain ahead in the post-IT era since 2001, but it still hasn't found a profitable way to take advantage of Web 2.0. That's why it cooperates with Nokia, in an attempt to beat Google, Apple, Facebook as it did similarly in the 1990s, but the world of Internet is not the case.

We will see, Microsoft is struggling and desperate for more deals in the future. Skype is nothing but another Yahoo. After all, nowadays, people matter most, not technology.
