Wow, this is a piece of good news for emerging markets and I guess it doesn't have to take that long time until 2025 to reach the goal. The multi-currency monetary system is an irreversible trend compared with today's US dollar dominance. The advanced economies have to admit that in the past decade and in the next several decade, these emerging countries will be the force or engine that drives the world economies move faster and everyone can enjoy this fruit. But question is that will USA facilitates this profess? Or will it pose some difficulites before we reach that point. The world bank report is absolutely an encouraging message to the world. Hope it goes well!

The EURO area is facing the sovereign debt crisis, which is a challenge to the euro. So if euro could be a international currency or even if it could still exist are to be test by time. The article highly evaluates rmb and I hope China perform better.

To establish a multi-currency financial system is not only an economic issue, but also a political issue,
The USA couldn't remain indifferent to seeing a multi-currency financial system established.

“The current predominance of the US dollar would end sometime before 2025 and would be replaced by a monetary system in which the dollar, the euro and the renminbi would each serve as full-fledge international currencies”
"renminbi would serve as one of the full-fledge international currencie?"
Along with the China's influence is increasing in the world, the frequency of utilization of the renminbi will be more and more, then that time renminbi will as the the internationl currency!
