Red-hot economies with negative real interest rates need to raise them. Fiscal policyis also too loose in many places. Budget deficits have been reduced slightly since 2009 but this is largely because strong growth has boosted tax revenues. On a general-government definition, six of the seven are still running quite large deficits (8% of GDP in India, for example); only Hong Kong’s governmentis in surplus.

Although the authority did a lot to curb overheating, in my opinion, there is a downward trends of economy undoutedly in the next six months.

This article reads like a cool breeze in hot summer, evading the sun's flame and refreshing us all.
So many pieces of  information on financial crisis, labor costs and manpower shortage, high inflation rate, drought and flood and the like have perplexed us. It's not what just China faces, but most of the emerging economies take the burden. Thanks to the timely measures having been taken, China's economy is not the worst overheating in the world and seems still on the rails. The comparison in the article is a placebo for us and is a performance evaluation of our government. We should forge ahead into the future and adopt appropriate and prompt policies to promote steady development both in mainland and in Hong Kong.

Maybe it's a good news for China. But I'm still not optimistic with China's inflation.Because the price of food is too high and it's a big cost for lower pay pepole,as a result ,this may cause a lot of proplem.

Just show up today, I've taken the bus for more than 8 hours from shanghai to jiangsu. I'll read the paper tomorrow~~~
But I still wanna say that overheating is common phenomenon in the fast growing markets, measures are lest to be taken by each individual government to curl the momentum of overheating. And here, who shows the most forward sight and deep understanding of its country will overshadow the heat and leadn its people to a sustainable and fast growth.
