run在这里的意思是挤兑，a run by the short term creditors 的意思自然就是短期借款人挤兑，这样这句话的意思楼主就明白了吧。

而負債分長期負債 (long term liability) 同 短期負責 (short term liability )

公司 CFO 要權衡 (負債 + 股東權益) 比重,   即 Capital Structure

而如果公司資金主要來源是 short term liability 的話,  (即 short term creditor 提供資).  這樣會對公司有很大的風險, 因為short term creditor 要短時間收回借出資金. 會對公司來壓力, 所以公司等於 run by short term creditor,  因出錢的就是老子
