Project Cost Accountant-

The Project Cost Accountant is responsible for overseeing the overall project capital budget including helping to set up the project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) cost structure.

·         Oversee project capital budget.

·         Develop tools to manage cost and change orders

·         Participate in review of contractor change orders with the CM/GC

·         Prepare and process all change orders for the Project Managers Approval

·         Participate in the review of GC/CM and A&E monthly invoicing

·         Manage the project approval process through SAP Finance

·         Primary interface between project and SAP Finance

·         Develop baseline project cost architecture.

·         Support writing requisitions, coordinating with the Project Procurement Group (PPG).

·         Responsible for working with division finance to determine Capital versus Expense for the project and maintaining an up to date spreadsheet for management purposes.

·         This position would report directly to the Project Manager and dotted line to the Finance Director.

·         Would reside a minimum of 50% of the time at the project site location (higher percentage of time may be required based on project need)

·         5 years of experience in a accounting role supporting capital projects

·         Experience with a foreign national company preferred

·         Experienced with capital construction projects preferred

·         Experience with SAP preferred

·         Must be bilingual Chinese/English
