2012年CES高级经济学继续教育培训讲座公告

中国留美经济学会(CES)和河南大学经济学院将在2012年6月25日在河南大学举办CES经济学继续教育培训讲座。该讲座的目的在于帮助青年经济学人提高研究能力、增加在国际专业学术期刊发表成果的机会。

讲座将在CES2012国际学术年会（6月23-24日）闭幕后举行。年会的几位主讲嘉宾（包括2010年诺贝尔经济学奖得主莫特恩森教授）将与青年学者传授分享学术研究的经验和卓见。包括《中国经济评论 (China Economic Review)》在内的数家期刊主编将提供有关发表学术成果和论文写作技巧的专业指导。国际知名学术期刊出版公司Elsevier也将举办论文作者知识讲座。

培训讲座将在6月25日上午8:30至下午2:30举行。由于人数有限，注册按照先到先得顺序登记。注册费是人民币640元，将在年会报到时当场缴付。当日住宿自理。请在6月1日前，把会议回执寄交jjky@henu.edu.cn。



CES Continuing Education Program 2012

The CES Continuing Education Workshop will be held on June 25, 2012 immediately after its Annual Conference (June 23-24) at Henan University, Kaifeng. The workshop aims to help junior scholars in early career of economics enhance research productivity and improve chances of publishing in peer-reviewed academic journals.

The conference keynote speakers, includingProfessor Dale Mortensen, Economics Nobel Laureates of 2010, will share with the participants their opinions and experience about being a successful research economist. Editors of several peer-reviewed international journals (including the China Economic Review) will provide professional advice on presenting research products and publishing papers. An author workshop will be conducted by Elsevier, one of the world’s leading publishers of academic journals and books.

The program will start 8:30 a.m. and end before 3:00 p.m.on June 25. The seats are limited and registration is received on a first-come-first-served basis.The programfee RMB 640, is payable when you sign infor the conference on June 22 or June 23. The fee does NOT include accommodation on the program day. Please fill up the attached reply slip and return it to jjky@henu.edu.cn by June 1st, 2012.

Note:
a) All conference participants must register online at http://china-ces.org/. Registration before May 1st is entitled to registration fee discount.
b) Conference registration fee for English paper presenters with valid CES memberships will cover three (3) nights of stay at New Century Grand Hotel for a shared hotel room (double occupancy) or at Henan University Hotel for a single hotel room. Paper presenters have the option to pay an additional US$50 (or RMB 350) per night per person to stay at NC Grand Hotel without sharing a room.
c) Special requirements for additional days of stay in either of the places can be indicated in the “Remark” area.
d) Return the slip to jjky@henu.edu.cn by June 1st, 2012. Reservation for accommodation and pickup service from the airport or train station will NOT be arranged for those who miss this deadline.
