Job Title: Coordinator, Accounts Payable
Job Location: Beijing / Shanghai, China
Reports to: Manager, Accounts Payable
Date: 11 May 2012
Salary:10k-13k
Position Summary
This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Accounts Payable
activities of NBA China. The role also provides ongoing support to the Manager,
Accounts Payable on related day-to-day operational and transactional activities
related to the Accounts Payable function of NBA China.
Major Responsibilities (*)
• Support the day-to-day operation of the company’s Account Payable function,
support and monitor the compliance of internal controls and policies, US
GAAP as well as local statutory requirements.
• Responsible for performing day-to-day Accounts Payable and ongoing
balance sheet reconciliations.
• Daily accounting process, journal processing, inter-company reconciliations
• Responsible for vendor management
• Responsible for the review and validation of invoices and expense claims
• Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist the Manager, Accounts Payable on month end closing and year end
closing
• Act as point of contact for external auditors and various government
departments on statutory related filing matters. Ensure full compliance with
local regulations.
• Assist in the review month end closing result and make sure of its accuracy.
Required Skills/Knowledge
• Experience in computerized accounting system environment and proficient in
Excel
• Detailed-oriented, organized and hardworking
• Fluent in Mandarin. Fair spoken and written English
• Good computer knowledge
Experience Needed
• Minimum 2 - 3 year experience in finance and accounting, specifically in
Accounting and General Ledger related functions.
• Experience in service industry, preferred: sports, advertising, media and
events
Educational Background Required
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related business field
• Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA etc.) desirable
