I think most of us are college students, so we should read regular newspapers. 250-350 words essays are readings for middle school or high school students.

That is exactly what we need to do. Thanks for pointing out the effective point. We are all busy with schoolwork and other things in real life. However, if we can take 15-20 minutes to read a part of an article every day, then we can improve our reading skills after a few months.

Actually I did see the board master's points here. Unfortunately it is really hard to make a solid point in a very short article.
