However, I do not think that you get it right because I do not think
that you have started from the vantage point of seeing things through the point of view of the authors.
Especially you have not started from the vantage point
that utility maximization, whatever that utility may be describes human
behavior. That is not my view but the view of
every professional economist. But then it becomes necessary to actually
categorize what the utility function is.
 
your comments  fail to understand what
economists do with utility functions (as for example
Gary Becker) then I think that you cannot begin to understand the
purpose of the book

what does this mean ?

how can we evaluate utility theory? please help.
