华东师大张利权，吴健平教授等发表于LANDSCAPE AND URBAN PLANNING 79 (3-4)的 署名文章 “A GIS-based gradient analysis of urban landscape pattern of Shanghai metropolitan area, China”，被主编申明撤销，理由是剽窃（plagiarism）了Matthew Luck and Jianguo Wu于2002年发表Landscape Ecology 17 (4), pp. 327–339的文章 “A gradient analysis of urban landscape pattern: a case study from the Phoenix metropolitan region, Arizona, USA”。张利权，吴健平与主编争辩说：他们文章的参考文献中列出了原作者的姓名、论文标题、发表时间、发表刊物等，因而属于“引用”，不是剽窃。但是主编认为，由于他们抄袭了原文的思想、方法，而且“引用”的篇幅（数量）过多，这实际上就等于剽窃。

This article has been retracted.
Reason: This article substantially copies an article by Matthew Luck and Jianguo Wu, “A gradient analysis of urban landscape pattern: a case study from the Phoenix metropolitan region, Arizona, USA” published in Landscape Ecology 17 (4), pp. 327–339,2002. The authors Zhang et al. have indicated in response that this does not amount to plagiarism because the article by Matthew Luck and JianguoWu was cited in their paper. In my view, the amount copied exceeds the usual purpose of citation (to refer to prior relevant work) and amounts to plagiarism.

该文还一稿两投：不但发表在《Landscape and Urban Planning》杂志上，而且同时发表在《植物生态学报》2004 , 28 (1) 78～85。
