Position Summary:

The analytical team is responsible forleading all analytic engagements within Merkle. Our role is to designinnovative analytic solutions to solve complex business problems. Throughanalytically derived insights, we often provide our clients with visibilityinto their business while systematically leading them towards improved businessperformance.

As part of the team, you will be engaged ina variety of analytic projects with different aspects of the customerlifecycle. To be successful in this role, you will need strong problem solvingskills, ability to work independently in a fast‐paced entrepreneurial workenvironment, be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and change. Ability tohandle multiple projects and collaborating with your co-workers is essential.

Position Responsibilities:

·        Analyze and manage data usingSAS, SQL or other languages as required

·        Implement analytical solutionsusing the following techniques: Predictive statistical modeling, Customerprofiling, Segmentation Analysis, Survey Design and Analysis, Data Analysis andMining, External Data Enhancement, and Econometric and financial analysis

·        Evaluate and improve internaltools and processes

·        Adapt statistical methodsaccording to business problems

·        Develop and test experimentaldesigns, sampling techniques, and analytical methods

·        Report results of statisticalanalyses, including information in the form of graphs, charts, and tables

·        Conduct basic business analysisand reporting

·        Perform ad hoc analysis ofbusiness situations, systems, issues and problems

·        Develop computer‐generatedstatistical and financial models

·        Analyze marketing channels andexploring new business opportunities

·        Mentor new colleagues

Position Qualifications:

·        MS/PhD degree from a topuniversity in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics,Economics, Finance, Operations Research, Engineering and etc.)

·        2 or more years relevantexperience

·        Strong problem-solving skills

·        Strong communication,interpersonal and leadership abilities

·        Excellent written Englishability

·        Proficient in Oral English

·        Experience in SAS Programmingis required

·        Experience in StatisticalModeling is required

·        Experience in Marketing andBusiness are preferred, but not required

·        Experience in SQL Programmingare preferred, but not required

·        Excellent work ethic and greatteam player
