I recommend you to read English version, no matter what.
To read Chinese version is not going to help you a lot, just like Do your GMAT practice without timing your pace.

Second, keep the idea of pace in you mind firmly.
The rhythm in U.S. school is very fast.
Tons of homework. Not to mention numerous group discussion. All very time-consuming.
It's far different than our traditional style.

For your question, I agree with my neighbor.
Read the whole book first. Although there is difference among different versions.
However, the backbone is definite the same.

You will know why there are so many unnecessary versions when you get here.
Again, take a deep breath, and relax.
You come here to learn, as long as you have done best, there is going to be no regret.
