1) Introduction
The primary role of a Quant structurer is to act as a solutions provider in the preparation of transactions involving
derivative financial products. This can be done through the creation of new products or the application of existing ones.
The responsibilities of a structurer can be summarised as follows:
• Create new products – primarily based on derivatives
