印度风格的国际New Age团-------------------Rasa 《Devotion 》---------------虔诚 Rasa——梵语,大意为： “味道”或感知的本质； 出类拔萃的审美情趣； 灵魂的情感放逐； 神圣的爱之本原。

RASA--古典印度曲风的新世纪组合，领军人物是来自美国的女声Kim Waters和来自德国的大提琴演奏家Hans Christian。始于1998年冬天在美国南加州两人甜蜜的相遇。 Kim Waters本来是个著名的插图画家，擅长宗教相关的画。 后来在某湖边忽然有了歌唱的灵感，声音纯净唯美，充满灵性。她的吟唱增加了音乐的优雅华丽 Hans Christian不仅是大提琴演奏家，后来能玩很多印度传统乐器，什么独特玩什么。 比如印度独有的乐器萨朗吉琴等等。他利用他的多种才能营造了一种温暖的气氛。 其实这个组合的风格源在印度，结合了当代民谣的风格，又不失原来的神圣。 当属New Age，感觉却比一般的new age深刻，也有一些安静的圣歌被作为瑜珈音乐。

*** 深夜，安静无人时，几乎无法相信当CD滑入机架时，所发射出来的迷人魅力！音乐是如此的缥缈，虚幻，甜腻和逗人迷态。我醉了，完全沉浸在如虚如幻的世界中，难以承受迷人的印度音乐风格糅合着新世纪音乐乐器和编译的音乐所带给我的陶醉和痴迷，四周的安静愈发衬托出音乐的回环，似短似续，似丝似颤的。。 。 仿佛独处在漆黑的空间，一颗幽幽的黑珍珠含蓄而悄悄的绽放着絮絮落落的光芒，一闪一闪的，然而却持续不断的。。黑珍珠不是白珍珠的那么苍白而袒露，纯净的黑色散发的光泽是幽邃而迷幻的，焦聚在一点的光芒更加的璀璨！浑圆而光滑的周身润泽，完全被黑色包裹，难以窥视的内在让人好奇，神秘的色彩让人充满痴迷和向往，黑色在空间已然延伸出来，完全融合在不见五指的空间，和空间一起笼罩了自己，感受到自己的渺小和虚弱，音乐始终回响着，仿如飘忽不定的丝线，若要离去，若要牵引，而自己不由得紧紧地抓住唯一感觉到的实在的旋律，伴随着女子独独的喃呢，一步一步的走向不知何处的深处。。。 似乎前方有一丝的光芒，神圣而带有庄严的恢宏，而自己就有如朝圣的信徒，踱步，踱步，虔诚，虔诚，再伏拜。。。。。 如果不是ourorange的逼迫，我是不会想起这张不知道被我遗忘到哪里去的，已然浮上一层灰的珍珠的。原谅我的粗心和懒惰吧！听到越多，感受越多，茫然和无知越发的积压和警告着我。。 "RASA"是印度梵语，它的意思是「味」，或所有深刻铭感的内涵；超越美学形式的体验；精神灵魂的情感满盈；一种神圣大爱的本赓。」这是此张专辑的主题。走一条糅合了印度古典音乐和new age的道路，歌词全部由梵文和孟加拉语写成。音乐的灵感完全来自古代印度文化，而作者的虔诚迷恋和研究促成了全新或者最醉人音乐的诞生吧！ RASA组合的歌手Kim Water和乐手Hams Christian，演绎了八首充满印度及东方色彩的新世纪类型音乐。多位地方音乐界好手助阵伴奏。曲式带有古典及现代气式元素，亦有浓厚宗教意义。
